2014, I'm Not Quite Done With You Yet

 Confession: I love being all sappy and retrospective on New Year's Eve.

However - this year, I gained much wisdom such as: pregnancy + staying up late and pondering emotional things do not mix.  Pro tip.

Though actually, I did stay up.  At 12:01am I looked over at Stephen and said "Hey.  It's 2015."  I played it real cool.  I didn't even make him sit there and stare at me awkwardly while I did a countdown.

Next year, I'll go all out with the staying up and the thinking deep thoughts about life, love, and the pursuit of happiness.  I mean, come on - next year I'll be turning 30 so it's going to be an epic over-analyzing fest for sure.

But for now, here's one last happy hurrah to 2014 that amazingly does not make me cry.  It does kind of make me tired, though.
