I mentioned before that my husband is on Pinterest. I love that about him. However, after I recently browsed his one and only board, I'm starting to think that men and women use Pinterest in veeeery different ways...
Cocktails based on Harry Potter Characters
If you go to Google Translate and type in “pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk pv zk bschk pv zk pv bschk zk bschk pv bschk bschk pv kkkkkkkkkk bschk” from English to German and press the listen button, it’ll beatbox
....so whadya think, am I right?? Or am I right. Because I'm pretty sure I'm right.
This stuff is important! In no particular order:
ReplyDelete1.) What if, during a zombie apocalypse, we are taken hostage by roving marauders, and they store us in a locked room with nothing but ping-pong balls and foil? We can use it to create a diversion and escape.
2.) Who doesn't want to eat a Tardis shaped cookie? And you can yell 'EXTERMINATE' before you eat the Dalek ones. It's fun all around.
3.) Corner toilets save space!
4.) If we want to have friends, we need a place to entertain and a way to make them forget their problems.
5.) Try as I might, I can't explain the beatboxing and Mary Poppins pins.
Moral of the story...I'm making my board private
Wow...now I kind of want to make Dalek cookies????!!!!
Delete1. That's also the year I was born! We are the same.
ReplyDelete2. I might need to show this to my husband so that he understands pinterest in a more man-friendly sense :P
3. Google translator for real? I'm too lazy to try, but kind of excited!
That's so funny!!! Especially since when I was looking at the pictures on your blog I was thinking that you looked like you were probably the same age as me...hey I think Lucys the Valiant's profile says she's 26 too...1986 must be the year EVERYONE cool was born. (Ummm....except Stephen and Emily. You guys are pretty cool too...)
Deletehahaha! This is really funny...and I just tried the Chim Chimney thing...it really does work! Mind = blown. =)
ReplyDeletehahahaha I know I was too lazy to get a pencil and I had to stare at it for like 5 minutes before I figured out what the heck they were talking about!!!
DeleteUm, these are all kind of really hilarious! I'm pretty sure if my husband had a Pinterest it would look a lot like this!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure if husbands had any idea what gems were hiding on Pinterest they'd be ALL OVER it - but honestly, I think one Pinterest addict per household is probably enough!!!
DeleteOk, now I feel a little masculine. With the exception of the smoke bomb, I'm totally interested in every one of those pins. Harry Potter cocktails? I'm so down. I'd probably love one themed after Hermione, I gotta lotta nerd in me.
ReplyDeletehahahaha I'm totally just picking on my husband here - he is SO making me Harry Potter cocktails this week to eat with our Doctor Who cookies. Own the nerd, girl!!!!! (Now I just wished you lived closer, I'd invite you over for the party :)
